Withdrawal and refunds
Your statutory right of withdrawal, how to exercise it, and how we handle refunds.

This page applies to the paid Pro version. No contract for a paid service is concluded for the free version, so there is nothing there to withdraw from and nothing to refund.
In short
- As a consumer you can withdraw from the contract within 14 days without giving any reason.
- An informal email to info@prefill.eu is enough. No form is required, but there is one below.
- Refunds are made within 14 days through the same channel you paid with, which means through PayPal.
- Withdrawal and cancellation are two different things. Withdrawal undoes the contract from the start, cancellation ends it for the future.
Withdrawal information
Right of withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day the contract is concluded.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us, Georg Heiler, Alex-Müller-Str. 90, 67657 Kaiserslautern, Germany, telephone +(49) 178 813 980 4, email info@prefill.eu, of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of a clear statement, for example a letter sent by post or an email. You may use the attached model withdrawal form, but this is not required.
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your notice that you are exercising your right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period expires.
Consequences of withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we must reimburse all payments we have received from you, including delivery costs (with the exception of additional costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the cheapest standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and at the latest within fourteen days from the day on which we receive notice of your withdrawal from this contract.
We will make this reimbursement using the same means of payment you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you. In no case will you be charged any fees for this reimbursement.
If you requested that the services begin during the withdrawal period, you must pay us a reasonable amount corresponding to the proportion of the services already provided up to the time you inform us of the exercise of your right of withdrawal, compared with the full scope of the services provided for in the contract.
End of withdrawal information
Early expiry of the right of withdrawal
The Pro features are unlocked immediately after booking, so that you do not have to wait fourteen days. This immediate unlock has a consequence that we point out explicitly before booking.
Your right of withdrawal expires early if you have expressly agreed that we begin performing the contract before the withdrawal period ends, and you have at the same time confirmed your knowledge that by giving this consent you lose your right of withdrawal as soon as we have fully performed the contract.
We ask for this consent separately when you book. If you do not give it, the unlock is postponed until the withdrawal period ends and your right of withdrawal remains in full. You receive confirmation of your consent together with the text of the contract by email.
Our refunds beyond the law
Independently of the statutory right of withdrawal, we refund the fee for the current billing period if the extension does not work for you and we cannot solve the problem within a reasonable time. In that case, just write to us.
This promise is voluntary. It does not limit your statutory rights and creates no entitlement in other cases.
If you end an annual subscription early, outside the right of withdrawal we generally do not refund pro rata. An exception applies if we can permanently no longer support a platform of the Pro version, in which case we refund the unused period pro rata. This is set out in section 10 of the terms and conditions.
Withdrawal, cancellation, licence key
Withdrawal undoes the contract retroactively and is possible within fourteen days of concluding the contract.
Cancellation ends the contract for the future, at the end of the period already paid for. It is possible at any time, directly in your PayPal account under recurring payments or informally by email. The Pro features remain usable until the end of the period.
Removing the licence key from the extension does not end a running subscription. To end it, please cancel in your PayPal account or by email.
Model withdrawal form
If you want to withdraw from the contract, fill in this form and send it back. You do not have to use it, an informal email is enough.
